Zephyrhills Christian Academy is committed to nurturing both academic excellence and student development. With the arrival of a new head football coach and several talented new hires, the school is positioned to expand its positive impact in Zephyrhills and the surrounding areas. Our mission is to create an environment where students thrive academically and athletically, supported by individualized learning and strong community ties to achieve their dreams.
The school will be participating in fundraising and community events. These events will not only raise essential funds but also foster relationships with the local community and businesses. Partnering with local organizations and service projects to offer students meaningful volunteer experiences is a goal for the school to make students better leaders, better players.
Recent hire, Coach BJ Hall, is planning a university bus tour, organizing a week-long trip for student-athletes to visit regional universities and colleges. This immersive experience will expose students to college environments, admissions processes, and athletic programs, inspiring college preparation and ambition. The students will experience workout camps led by experienced coaches and trainers, paving the way and putting them in front of those who can offer scholarships. Camps will focus on physical conditioning, teamwork, and discipline, laying the foundation for athletic and personal growth.
The students will be accompanied by a media team and yoga coach. Students from other schools are encouraged to attend this event. The trip is designed to develop leadership and foster responsibility, teamwork, and ethical conduct. These initiatives will be led by the new coach, whose vision emphasizes student development and lifelong skills.
Sponsor Body Amor is providing their hydration to support this athletic event. Their participation and other sponsors will enhance student experiences and help offset costs for families. Students and families will maximize fundraising efforts and seek additional sponsors to ensure activities remain affordable for parents.
Recently, Quarterback Josiah Carter and Linebacker and Running Back Alexander Birner returned from their participation in the Blue-Grey All American Combine, where the best of the best compete to participate in the All American Bowl, held at the Dallas Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium or the NFL Pro Bowl’s Camping World Stadium. Each game is nationally broadcast on ESPN or YouTube and then permanently archived. This trip prompted a call for Birner from a coach in Los Angeles.
