Florida Brass is a local musical concert group that consists of brass and percussion instruments.
Members consist of musicians of all backgrounds; that may include members of various Alumni Drum and Bugle Corps and Marching bands throughout the United States and Canada. Florida Brass performs using the traditional G brass instruments. In addition to the brass section, we also have a small but mighty percussion section.
Florida Brass's repertoire consists of well over 20 selections and their performances run just about an hour and 15 minutes. Florida Brass music selections range from a Broadway musical to the classical tunes of the mid 60s to ever poplar pops! Let’s not leave out good old time Rock and Roll music and anything in between. Here are just some of the musical selections, which Florida Brass performs. From One Hand, One Heart (West Side Story), Sections from Phantom of the Opera, Going out of My Head, Louie Louie, and to close out their performance a rendition of Looney Tunes Overture.
Florida Bass rehearsals are held at the Zephyrhills Elks Lodge, which is located at 6851 Wire Road. They will be rehearsing next on the following dates May 4th and 17th.
