Gridiron Greats Salute Classroom Champions with New Recognition Program
PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are partnering with Pasco County Schools to recognize the educators and support staff who make a positive impact in students’ lives every day.
The new “Bucs Best Krewe” program will launch this school year, shining a spotlight on outstanding principals, teachers, and support staff. Each month, an exceptional educator from each category will be honored at a Pasco County School Board meeting, where a member of the Buccaneers’ leadership team will present them with a custom game ball and significant community recognition.
“The Glazer Family and the Buccaneers are dedicated to uplifting the children of the entire Tampa Bay region, and this program is just another symbol of that commitment by recognizing the impact of our exceptional educators and support staff,” said Buccaneers Chief Operating Officer Brian Ford.
The Buccaneers have a long-standing commitment to education and community building. They have partnered with school districts throughout the region to celebrate educators, provide resources, and engage students in meaningful programs. The “Bucs Best Krewe” is the latest initiative to bring this commitment directly to the community.
“This is what happens when champions recognize champions,” said Dr. Legg, Superintendent of Pasco County Schools. “Our educators, leaders, and support staff pour everything into their students, and now the Buccaneers are stepping up to say, ‘We see you, we appreciate you, and we recognize your impact in this community.'”
